Lego is the work of genius, as is the world of Harry Potter. The Harry Potter Lego game, otherwise known as the Harry Potter Hogwarts Game, is built from 330 pieces, and as with all the Lego games even the dice has to be put together. The process of building it together, plus the fact that the board, the dice and the actual rules can be changed by the players helps give the kids a sense that the Harry Potter Lego game is their game. They make the rules and the game as they go along.

Lego as a whole is an outstanding toy and has been around in some form for over 70 years – bricks from the 1950′s are totally compatible with bricks made currently! Lego is iconic and quite ubiquitous; appearing in music videos, conceptual art, an episode of the Simpsons, even NASA programs (NASA have worked in partnership with Lego to create a whole new range of space Lego, which looks very awesome).
Children can play use it in an open ended and free flowing way creating whatever they see fit.
